If your kid enjoys word games or if you want him to get interested in words then, this is the perfect game. Anagrams are a group of words that use exactly the same letters but are written differently.
Contents
Requisites: Paper, Pencil
Steps:
1. Take a pencil and paper, think and list out all the anagrams that you can bring up, together with your child.
2. If you want to make it hard for your kid, write a list of words and ask him to come with an anagram for each word.
3. You could also list words and anagrams in two separate columns but in a jumbled way. Then, ask him to match in them in a correct order. Anagrams could be like race/care, bat/tab, its/sit, god/dog, flow/wolf.
4. You could also make up riddles like: short sleep during the day/something to cook with; Answer: Nap/pan
This activity is a great way to help your kid remember spellings and boost his memory. His vocabulary and problem solving ability will also increase.
