1. Make sure you have all the necessities. A large soft towel, a small tub of warm water, which is comfortable for your baby, a gentle baby wash, a soft washcloth and baby wipes.

2. Take off your baby's clothes very gently and lay her down on a large towel.

3. Add a few drops of the baby wash liquid into the tub and mix it well with the water.

4. Take the washcloth and dip it into the water. Squeeze the excess water and fold the washcloth into a small square so it can be easily held and handled.

5. Pick your baby up along with the towel, supporting her back with your hand and supporting her head with your palm.

6. With your other hand, gently wipe her neck, stomach, back and bum.

7. Next, clean the washcloth and repeat the same without any baby wash.

8. Using a gentle baby shampoo, follow the same procedure to clean her head and hair. Be very careful as you do this step.

9. Take a small cotton round and dip it in clean warm water. Gently wipe around her eyes and clean her face. You can use the baby wash for this step.

10. After you are done, wipe her entire body with baby wipes and pat her dry very gently. You can moisturize and apply baby powder as well.
