Team AckoFeb 8, 2024

When kids turn 4, they often behave with their friends in such a way which can hurts their feelings. Their playful teasing often hurts others' feelings, which they do not realize. Teaching children about their behavior and how their little behavior can affect others feelings is very important. You should do the same with your child:

    1. Teach your child that hurtful taunting often comes with anger. Therefore, whenever any issues arise with her peers, it is to advice that talk with your friend regarding the present situation gently and softly.

2.The tone of the voice is important. Give her an example of the way you deal with your child.

    3. Advice your kiddo that criticizing about friend’s drawbacks or capabilities are very hurtful. Teach your child that every human being comes in this world with unique qualities and their physical features are all gifted by god for a special reason. So, taunting about anyone’s physical feature can damage a person’s self-esteem and can become a source of sadness and bring shame.

    4. Instead of teasing, helping or cooperating with others should be more encouraged. Whenever you observe your kiddo to be helpful and kind with others, appreciate her and give her a smiley and when you see her teasing others, rectify her behavior when she is alone and communicate that how hurtful was that for the friend.

    5. Giving your kiddo the example of if same things happen with her, how would she feel, will help her to understand the situation in a better way.
