Aromatic rice is full of flavour and is made using basmati rice, which has carbohydrates and is sauted in ghee with onion and cashews, emitting an amazing aroma. ngredients to make Aromatic rice:

    ½ cup basmati rice, ½ tsp ghee, ¼ onion, 1-2 cashews, salt as per taste, 1 cup water

    Steps to make Aromatic Rice:

    1. Wash and soak the basmati rice for 20 minutes. Drain the water and keep aside.

    2. In a pan, take ¼ tsp ghee. Add the cashews and saute for 1 minute.

    3. Grind to fine powder.

    4. In the same pan, add the remaining ghee. Once warm, add the finely chopped onion and saute for 2 minutes. Once translucent, add water and salt.

    5. Bring the water to a boil and add the basmati rice.

    6. Cover and cook on medium flame till the rice is cooked.

    7. Switch off the flame and allow the rice to settle down well.

    Finally, add the cashew powder and gently mix the aromatic rice. Enjoy!
