Boondi Ladoos is a very popular Indian dessert and it is made from gram flour. Most kids are very fond of it and enjoy eating them since they are very sweet. They contain healthy carbs.

For sugar syrup: 1.5 cups sugar, 3/4th cup water
For the batter: 1.5 cups - gramflour (besan), 1 cup water - depending on the quality of besan, pinch of cashews and raisins, 1 tbsp ghee to make balls, ghee for frying
1. Mix sugar and water in a pan and keep the pan in low flame
2. Cook the sugar syrup till you get one thread consistency and then switch off the flame.
3. Try to keep the sugar syrup warm beofre you add the boondi
4. Take the gram flour and mix water and make smooth consistency.
5. Now take a perforated ladle and pour and ladle full of batter on the krandi and spread it out. The boondis will fall drop by drop.
6. Fry the boondis till they are little soft, then drain them and keep aside.
7. Now take few boondis in a bowl,and add the sugar syrup and try to mash the boondis.
8. Add cashews and raisins, mix them properly and start making small balls.
Keep them aside for 2-3 hours untill they are little firm and then they are ready serve.
