Oats are rich in fibre. Cooking the oats in milk and adding fruits like banana and dry fruit like dates, you can prepare yummy and healthy breakfast oats. Milk provides the required calcium while banana and dates have vital vitamin and minerals.Flavouring the oats further with jaggery, makes this porridge sweet and tasty.

    Ingredients to make Breakfast Oats:

    ½ cup oats powder, 1 cups milk, ½ banana, 2 dates, 1 tbsp grated jaggery, ½ tsp butter

    Steps to make Breakfast Oats:

    1. In a pan, melt butter. Add chopped banana and saute the bananas till they turn golden brown.

    2. Add oats powder, chopped dates, and milk.

    3. Allow this mixture to come to a boil and immediately lower the heat. Add the grated jaggery.

    4. Cook on low flame for about 5 minutes or till the oats mixture gets cooked well.

    Yummy and nutritious breakfast oats is ready. Remove from heat and serve this delicacy.
