    Ingredients to make Cabbage Coins:

    1⁄2 cup soaked chana dal, 1⁄2 cup soaked urad dal, 1⁄2 cup finely chopped cabbage, 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves, 1⁄2 tsp ginger paste, a pinch of turmeric powder, 1 tsp cumin seeds powder, 2 tbsp curd, 1/4th cup besan, oil for cooking

    Steps to make Cabbage Coins:

    1. Combine the chana dal, urad dal, and 2 tbsp of water in a mixer and blend to a coarse paste.

    2. Transfer the paste to a bowl, add cabbage, ginger paste, turmeric powder, cumin seeds powder, besan, curd, salt and mix well.

    3. Divide the mixture into small equal parts and make balls of each of it.

    4. Heat non-stick griddle and grease it with oil.

    5. Flatten the balls like a coin and cook on griddle on slow flame till it turns golden brown and crisp from both sides.

    Serve immediately with green chutney or home made tomato ketchup.
