    Ingredients to make Cabbage Thoren:

    Cabbage - 3 cups (finely chopped), onions-4 (finely chopped), turmeric powder -1/4 tsp, coconut oil -2 tsp, salt to taste, curry leaves –few, grated coconut -1/3 cup, cumin powder -1 tsp

    For the seasoning:

    Coconut oil -1 tbsp, mustard seeds -1 tsp, curry leaves- few

    Steps to make Cabbage Thoren:

    1. Combine cabbage, onions, turmeric powder, curry leaves, coconut, cumin, 2 tsp oil and salt. Mix well.

    2. Heat 1 tbsp coconut oil, and add mustard seeds. When it splutters, add the mixed ingredients.

    3. Sprinkle a little water and cook covered on low heat until soft. Serve hot with rice.
