Looking for some refreshing and delicious recipe? Then try this recipe out for your kiddo to indulge his sweet tooth in. Gulkand helps to improve appetite and is an excellent skin tonic. It has cooling properties and removes toxins from the body and purifies blood.

Ingredients to make Gulkand Peda:

½ kg soft khoya, 2 cups powdered sugar, ½ tsp cardamom powder, 1 tsp semi crushed cardamom seeds, 1 tsp pista, 2 tbsp gulkand, and 6-8 almonds

Steps to make Gulkand Peda:

1. Get a heavy pan and put it on a low flame. Place gulkand into it and stir it gently to avoid any lumps.

2. Remove the pan from the flame. Let it cool

3. Grate khoya with a steel grater. Add powdered sugar and mix it well.

4. Put the mixture in a large and non-sticky pan and heat it on high flame for 2-3 minutes.

5. Reduce the heat to low flame. Keep stirring the mixture continuously. Once it turns thick then switch off the flame.

6. Add cardamom powder and mix it well. Allow to cool the mixture and keep stirring it occasionally.

7. Take a small portion of this mixture on your palm and flatten it. Place a little amount of the gulkand mixture in the center of the flattened piece.

8. Roll it gently to cover the gulkand mixture. Gently press the roll. Repeat the procedure to make more rolls.

9. Decorate the rolls with pista, almonds and cardamom seeds. Let the rolls cool down.

Serve this peda to your kiddo. Let him relish it.
