On the lookout for a tasty and nutritious breakfast/tiffin idea? We have for you the perfect solution with our Idli Surprise recipe. These idlis are full of veggies, which provide vital nutrients like vitamin C, vitamin A, iron and potassium.

Idli Batter - 3 cups, mixed chopped vegetables (carrots, beans, boiled potato, boiled peas) - 2 cups, for the seasoning: oil -2 tsp, cumin seeds - 1 tsp, salt to taste
1. Heat oil and add cumin seeds. When it splutters, add all the vegetables, and salt as needed, and cook on medium flame for a few minutes, stirring frequently, until veggies are three-fourths cooked.
2. After the mixture cools, mix it with the idli batter. Take ladlefuls of batter and pour in greased idli molds.
3. Steam for 15-18 minutes. Serve with chutney.
