This sweet dish is very healthy and nutritious as it contains ghee and nuts that gives a richness to this dish. Egg makes it healthier and gives a unique flavor.

    Ingredients to make Madakkusan:

    1 cup plain flour, 1 egg, 1 cup grated coconut, 1 tsp cardamom powder, sugar to taste, water as required, a pinch of salt

    Steps to make Madakkusan:

    1. Take maida, egg and salt in a bowl and mix together.

    2. Add water to it and form a thin batter.

    3. Combine sugar, coconut and cardamom powder as well.

    4. Pour a spoon full of batter and spread it like a dosa.

    5. Let one side cook and then turn it to the other side and cook it well.

    6. Once both sides are cooked then put the coconut mixture inside it.

    Roll it well and transfer it to the plate.
