Malidda can be made from leftover chapati or fresh whole wheat chapati or flat pieces of bread. The addition of jaggery and dates not only add to the sweetness but also makes the whole dish nutritious. Dates are an excellent source of vitamin B6.

1. Grind the chapatti pieces to make a coarse powder and add dates and blend it also.
2. Take a mixing bowl, add blended chapati, dates, jaggery, and ghee mix it well and make laddoos.
You can offer these Maliddas as a dessert or a snack.
