This is a yummy chutney that can be used as a spread for any dosa and parantha as well. It has a unique flavor and is very famous in South India for its delicious taste. It is loaded with iron and protein.

½ cup chana dal, 1 tbsp urad dal, 2 tbsp oil, 1 tbsp jaggery, 3/4 cup grated coconut, salt to taste
1. Heat some oil in a pan and add urad dal and chana dal to it. Fry them on medium flame for 2-3 minutes.
2. Add grated coconut and saute for few minutes.
3. Now, add jaggery and salt as per your taste.
4. Mix all these ingredients well and saute them for 2 minutes on medium flame.
5. Take them off the flame and let them cool down in a plate.
6. Blend all the ingredients in a blender to get a smooth paste.
7. Temper this chutney with mustard seeds.
Serve with dosa or parantha.
