Gwaramari is a round bread, which happens to be a famous breakfast recipe from Nepal to be served with chutney and milk. It is easy to make and tastes best when served warm.

    Ingredients to make Newari Gwaramari:

    1 cup plain flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp groud cumin, 1 tsp ground coriander, salt as per taste, water and oil for frying.

    Steps to make Newari Gwaramari:

    1. Combine the flour, baking powder, ground cumin, coriander, salt in a mixing bowl. Add water while stirring continuously to make a thick paste.

    2. Cover the bowl and keep it in refrigerator overnight.

    3. Take out the batter and mix well. Heat oil in skillet.

    4. Take a small ladle full of batter, make a ball and fry it in oil.

    5. Fry all the small balls. Drain and remove on absorbent paper.

    Serve with green or Nepali chutney.
