These delicious and nutritious Oats Balls are a perfect healthy snack. It can be packed in the snack box. The fiber-rich, slow-burn carbohydrates in whole-grain oats supply a steady stream of energy. Jaggery helps in digestion and boosting the immunity.

    Ingredients to make Oats Balls:

    ¼ cup lightly roasted quick cooking rolled oats, 1¼ tsp ghee, ½ cup chopped jaggery, ¼ cup lightly roasted, finely chopped mixed nuts(pistachios, almonds, and walnuts) and 1 tbsp lightly roasted sesame seeds

    Steps to make Oats Balls:

    1. Heat 1 tsp of ghee in a broad non–stick pan, add the jaggery and cook on a slow flame till the jaggery melts, while stirring continuously.

    2. Remove from flame, add all the remaining ingredients and mix well. Keep aside to cool for 2 minutes.

    3. Grease your hands with the remaining ¼ tsp of ghee.

    4. Divide the mixture into 10 equal portions, shape each portion into a round ball by rolling it in between your palms and insert a small disposable stick in the centre.

    Cool completely and store in an air-tight container.
