Tangthur is a simple Ladakhi dish made from just three ingredients. Green leafy vegetables of any kind can be used for this dish and it need not necessarily include spinach as it's incuded in this recipe here. Leafy vegetables are very nutritious and good for health. Yogurt is a good source of calcium, making the dish a healthy one. You can either use it as a dip or pair it with any dish of your choice.

    Ingredients needed to make Tangthur:

    1 bunch spinach, salt to taste, 1 cup yogurt

    Steps to make Tangthur:

    1. Clean the spinach well and boil.

    2. Cook the spinach in a pan till you see the leaves welt.

    3. Add salt and mix well.

    4. Switch off and allow to cool.

    5. Add this to a cup of yogurt and mix well.

    Serve with any dish of your choice.
