Veg Cutlet

This recipe is a simple, easy, and delicious one that can be served as an evening snack. It is fully loaded with vitamins and minerals required for your toddler’s growth. Carrots contains vitamin A, B, C, potassium and calcium while green beans are full of vitamin A and K to help build your baby’s immune system. Potato is a very good source of vitamin B6, potassium, copper, vitamin C, manganese, phosphorus, etc.

    Ingredients to make Veg Cutlet:

    2 cups cubed potatoes, ½ cup green peas, 1 cup cubed carrot, ½ cup beans chopped, 6 tbsp bread crumbs, 2tbsp besan, ¾ tsp grated ginger, 1-2 finely chopped green chillies, ½ tsp garam masala, salt to taste, handful chopped coriander leaves, oil for fry

    Steps to make Veg Cutlet:

    1. Boil all the veggies and mash them well.

    2. Add bread crumbs, salt, ginger, garam masala and chillies as well to the veggies. Your dough should be non sticky.

    3. Make 10-12 patties and set aside.

    4. Make a slightly thin batter of besan. Dip each patty in the batter on both the sides.

    5. Place them on the bread crumbs. Now place them aside for 5 to 10 minutes.

    6. Heat 2-3 tbsp of oil for shallow frying. Fry them  on both the side until golden and crisp.

    Serve these delicious cutlets to your toddler along with chutney or dip.
