This is a usual payasam that is made from the bread and is very easy to make. It gives a unique flavor to the and fills up your tummy fast.

    Ingredients to make Bread Payasam:

    7-8 bread slices, 250 gm sugar, 1 ltr milk, 200 ml ghee, 1 tbs raisins, few saffron strands

    Steps to make Bread Payasam:

    1. Toast all the bread slices on tawa in ghee till they turn golden brown in color.

    2. Cut into pieces and keep aside.

    3. Fry the raisins on the same tawa and keep aside.

    4. Take a pan and heat 250 ml milk in it. Add sugar, saffron, sugar, and bread pieces.

    5. Mix well and allow the mixture to cook until it leaves the sides of the kadai.

    6. Add the remaining milk and mix well. So that all the contents gets dissolved.

    Put fried raisins and payasam is ready to serve.
