Gud ki Roti

Jaggery is loaded with antioxidants and minerals such as zinc and selenium, which in turn help prevent free-radical damage and also boosts resistance against infections. Jaggery also helps increase the total count of hemoglobin in the blood, making this quite a healthy dish.

    Ingredients to make Gud ki Roti:

    Gur (jaggery), milk, ghee, atta,

    Steps to make Gud ki Roti:

    1. Dissolve the gur in half the milk over low heat and cool.

    2. Mix the gur (jaggery) in half of the milk in a pan over low heat. Let it cool.

    3. In a bowl add atta,ghee and the salt. Mix well.

    4. Add the ghee to the atta and rub the ghee in. Knead into a dough adding the milk solution. If required, add more milk.

    5. Roll the dough in round.6. Cook over low heat, spreading ghee all over and around the roti till done.

    Serve hot.
