Having food made from sprouted ragi flour is excellent for your child as it aids in digestion besides being a good source of carbohydrates. Along with jaggery and ghee, you can prepare tasty and healthy Ragi Laddoos in a short time. The best part is you can store in an airtight container for 2-3 days.

2 cups sprouted ragi flour, 1 tbsp ghee, 2.5 cups of jaggery, 5-10 cashews
1. In a pan, dry roast ragi flour for 4-5 mins and remove in a plate. Keep aside.
2. In the same pan, dry roast the cashews and blend to a corase powder along with the roasted ragi flour.
3. Prepare the jaggery syrup by melting jaggery in a pan with little water. Boil till the jaggery gets melted and the syrup thickens little. Using a strainer, filter the syrup. Add the ghee to the syrup and mix well. Swtich off the flame.
4. Add the blended ragi cashew mixture to the jaggery syrup while still warm. Give a good mix.
5. Grease both your palms with little ghee and take small portions of this warm mixture and roll them into balls. Please don’t leave the mixture to cool otherwise it dries up and you cannot get them into the desired shape(as in laddoos)
