Ridge gourd is a very healthy veggie because it contains very few calories. It is also a good anti-inflammatory agent. With the goodness of all these apects, tasty and delicious Ridge Gourd Paratha is made in minutes and can be served with chutney or pickle.

    Ingredients to make Ridge Gourd Paratha:

    Wheat flour-1 cup, ghee-1/4 cup, curd -1/4 cup, sugar-½ tsb, salt-to taste, water-3/4 cup, oil-1 tsb, sesame seeds-few, ridge gourd-1 small, and coriander leaves-few

    Steps to make Ridge Gourd Paratha:

    1. Heat oil in a pan, add chopped ridge gourd. Sesame seeds, sugar and salt. Cook until the ridge gourd turns soft and dry. Add coriander leaves and leave it to cool.

    2. Grind it to asmooth but tight paste.

    3. In a bowl add the ridge gourd paste, c urd and wheat flour and mix it well. Make asoft dough using water.

    4. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll out each portion in a circle.

    5. Cook the parathas on a hot tawa (griddle) until both sides are golden brown.

    Brush ghee and serve hot with curry, bhujia, or chutney of your choice.
