Pantnagar Airport is a domestic airport in Uttarakhand that is situated in the Udham Singh Nagar district of the state. This airport primarily serves the city of Pantnagar and its surrounding areas and features direct flights to several states of the country including Jaipur, Delhi, Ahmedabad etc.
This airport is also located in close proximity to the Kumaon division, which lies between two of the largest cities of that region, Haldwani and Rudrapur, making it easy to access both places.

Also known as Pithoragarh Airport, it is about 7.4 km away from the main city. Besides, the Uttarakhand Government proposed commercial helicopter services from this airport to Dehradun and Pantnagar.

Gauchar Airport in Uttarakhand is meant for helicopter services. Hence, it is also known as Gauchar Airstrip, which is situated on the outskirts of a town called Gauchar. This 4000 ft airport has been operational since 1998 and lies on the key route that leads to the Char Dham in Uttarakhand.
This airstrip played a crucial role in rescuing numerous pilgrims during the Kedarnath floods of 2013. However, this airport is not accessible for regular flights and is only used for emergency or rescue operations.
