The second-generation Baleno is a huge leap forward from the previous model in terms of fit, finish, quality and safety. This premium hatchback is sold through the NEXA showrooms and is available with a naturally aspirated 1.2 petrol-powered unit which puts out about 90 hp of peak power and 113 Nm of peak torque. It comes either with a manual or an automatic transmission.

Airbags have sensors in them that get triggered when they detect a crash. The heat from the ignitor triggers a chemical reaction that separates sodium azide into nitrogen gas and sodium, which inflates the airbags in a split second.
