MG is all set to launch its New Hector with a revamped design. The front of the vehicle will get a new Diamond mesh grill, new alloys, and a slightly different bumper design, while the rear end will largely retain the current look. The interior will have an even more modern and premium layout. The main highlight would be the 14-inch infotainment system, the new all-digital instrument cluster, and the ADAS.
What about the powertrain options? They will likely be the same: with the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 2-litre diesel engines. The gearbox will be designed with a 6-speed manual, CVT, and a DCT transmission. With all these features, the MG SUV will rival the likes of Tata Harrier, Jeep Compass, and Mahindra SUVs.

The MG Baojun is another upcoming MG car slated to debut towards the end of 2022. The SUV shares many external design characteristics with the larger MG Hector. The front of the vehicle has a low set of headlamps, a wide grille, and LED DRLs. The black interior with silver accents on doors and dashboard, makes the inside of this car classy and sophisticated.
Other great features include a 7-inch LED touchscreen infotainment system, temperature control, an Android autoplay system, a piano-shaped control button, a power driver's seat, and dual front airbags. The vehicle will be equipped with a CVT and a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine, giving a maximum output of 77 kW and peak torque of 135Nm.

The MG Air EV is the smallest electric car in India, geared to launch at the beginning of 2023. The four-seater compact EV will rival the Tata Tiago EV post launch. The EV is likely to be available in two battery packs of 17.3 kWh and 26.7 kWh, similar to its global variants. The batteries will be paired with a 40PS electric motor with a rear-wheel drivetrain.
The interior of the EV will feature a 10.25-inch digital floating display, an instrument cluster, steering-mounted controls, connected car tech, and automatic AC. On the safety front, the vehicle will include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and rear parking cameras.

The MG Marvel X is an upcoming MG car launching in 2023. A 2-litre turbocharged diesel engine powers the vehicle with an engine power of 167.68 bhp @3750 RPM. It is also likely to have a front-wheel drive 6-speed manual transmission.
The car's internal features include an air conditioner, heater, anti-lock braking system, central locking, power steering, power windows, and leather seats. The vehicle is also expected to be high on mileage and safety features. Post launch, it will compete with the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, Hyundai Tucson, and Hyundai Kona Electric.

The features include a sunroof, infotainment unit, instrument cluster, flat-bottomed steering wheel, connected car tech, and voice command controlled AC.
Under the hood, you will likely find a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine giving 147 PS of power and 245 Nm of torque. The transmission option would remain the same 6-speed manual and a CVT. The vehicle will compete against the likes of the Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla Altis, Hyundai Elantra, and Skoda Octavia.

The MG3 is an upcoming hatchback expected to launch in 2023. It will be offered in a petrol engine with both manual and automatic transmission. On the mechanical front, it is expected to be powered by a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol motor that can churn out 104 bhp power and a peak torque of 135 Nm. The car is likely to have a manual gearbox with CVT as an option.
The interior will feature, among other things, a large touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging, a 360-degree view camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system, an electric sunroof, automatic climate control, and an air purifier.
