Here are the key factors associated with the driving test procedure in Gujarat.
The exam is conducted under the supervision of an RTO inspector.
The exams test your ground/road driving skills.
The ground driving skills are about driving in patterns like “H”, “T”, “U”, etc.
The road driving skills are about driving in compliance with traffic rules.
Not passing this test means a re-test.
DLs for two-wheelers and three-wheelers also include two types of riding tests.
The ground test is about riding skills tested over patterns like “8” and “T”.
An inspector looks over the process.
An applicant needs to apply for a re-test in case the inspector isn’t satisfied with the process.
Driving Licence fees depend on the type of service you request the RTO for. See the below table to understand the charges associated with DL in Gujarat.
Type of service | Fees (in Rs.) |
Issuing LL for different vehicle types | 150 |
Test/retest fee for LL | 50 |
