Karnataka is one of the fastest-developing states in India. Bengaluru, the state's capital, has become the IT hub of the country. Many people from all over the country move to Karnataka every year to leverage the increasing opportunities in the capital city and other locations in the state. And the more people, the more the number of motor vehicles on the roads. If you drive a vehicle in this state, make sure to hold a valid Driving Licence (DL) and have valid car/bike insurance for your vehicle.
As per The Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, the state RTO is liable to collect hefty fines from people driving/riding vehicles with an expired DL. You can avoid such a penalty by applying for licence renewal before it expires. This article will help you understand the process of Driving Licence renewal in Karnataka.
