Driving Licence renewal in Maharashtra is a crucial process as the licence does not come with lifetime validity.
As per The Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, an individual must possess mandatory documents like an active DL, valid car/bike insurance certificate, etc., to legally drive a motor vehicle in India.
If you drive a vehicle in Maharashtra — the second-most populated state in the country — and it’s been a few years since you got your DL, it may be due for renewal. This article will provide all information about the process involved in Driving Licence renewal online/offline in Maharashtra.
