You don’t have to carry physical documents like your vehicle’s Registration Certificate, Driving Licence, etc., everywhere if you have uploaded them in the DigiLocker. Via the Digiocker, digital copies of documents and certificates become accessible whenever you need them.
DigiLocker fetches information related to a document directly from the issuing authority or department. This helps to ensure the accuracy of details in your certificates. For instance, in the process of storing your DL, the DigiLocker gets the information straight from the database of the RTO that issued your licence.
There’s no need to worry about forgetting or losing your important documents with a DigiLocker account. Not only does the platform store all your documents safely, it only allows Aadhaar-authenticated access to ensure security.
