According to a press release from the Department of Welfare of Disabled & Senior Citizens, Transgender community members can access various welfare programmes via the National Portal for Transgender Persons. The programmes are related to scholarship opportunities, skills training, work opportunities, healthcare plans, Transgender certificate, identification cards, etc. They also have the option to register complaints through the government portal.
As per the press release, each applicant would receive a unique registration number and login details after registering with the portal. The member must log in to proceed and access the scheme's advantages. This announcement is another critical step towards the betterment of the Transgender community in Telangana.

On Wednesday, August 17, 2022, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, declared that the Dr YSR Aarogyasri Health Insurance Scheme would now comprise 754 new treatments. The total number of operations presently covered is 3118 after including these additional procedures and the deletion of a few others.
Integrating all public hospitals, Primary Health Centers (PHCs), and village clinics with their respective district medical colleges was another significant decision made at the meeting. This reform will improve the quality of medical care and the communication between medical professionals.
Additionally, the state government has implemented the "Family Doctor" initiative to enhance healthcare services for rural populations through doorstep services. He also said that PHC and community clinic construction should move faster. Each village clinic will have three to four personnel working there, performing 14 different types of medical testing.
