Remember the game of just running in circles keeping your hands wide like an airplane? Here is a similar activity for your baby to develop his gross motor skills, the fun way.

Steps:

1. Sit on the floor with crossed legs and keep your hands at your back for support.

2. Place your baby on your lap facing away from you.

3. Slowly lift your legs and toss your baby high and say airplane is flying and also airplane is landing. Encourage your baby to spread his hands like wings.

This activity needs a bit balance to toss and hold your baby back. You can also use one hand for support and other to hold. This activity helps your baby with movement and strengthens his muscles.
