Remember the rhyme “Row, row, row your boat”? Most do, if not, you can always find it online. Here is an activity for your baby with the rhyme which helps in developing his gross motor skills. Check it out!
Contents
Steps:
1. Sit down on the floor and stretch your legs in a V shape. Touch your feet to the sofa or any soft surface.
2. Make your baby sit on your legs near the ankles and hold his hands firmly for support.
3. Let the soft surface near your feet give support to his back. Pull his hands right and left in the form of rowing while you sing the rhyme.
Rhymes are actually fun to sing when you are around little kids. This activity helps your baby to move his hands and legs, which strengthens his muscles.
