Ever played being the electrician and flipped the waste switches on and off making a click sound? Here is one such activity to teach your baby about light and dark while it also develops his fine motor skills.

Steps:

1. Hold your baby in your hands and take him near a light switch.

2. Switch the light on and show him about brightness

3. Switch the light off and tell him about darkness. Make him do the on and off for a while. Parent observation is much needed as it is electricity you are dealing with here.

Babies love to put the light on and off once learned. While they enjoy flipping the switch on and off it helps them to strengthen their small muscles in hands and fingers.
