At this point, you will notice that your baby kicks legs when excited, in sequence. He might also now enjoy in moving his legs in the same way as he cycling. Your baby might also starting to look more closely at different objects like small blocks and toys, and his eyes can now even follow the objects.

This development is a great way to understand that he is developing his gross motor skills. It is also a positive sign that his physical development is in the right direction. You will also notice your baby kicks his legs while sleeping.
However, around this time, your baby might cry and fuss more. This is a normal part of development and will pass in time. Every baby is different, but crying and fussing usually peaks at around 6-8 weeks and starts to settle around 12-16 weeks. His physical development will increase during this time. Assist him as your help him excercise his legs in a cycling motion. This will help your baby kick his legs up and develop better gross motor skills.
