At this stage, you will notice your baby pulls up to sit. That is, your child can now make himself sit and is ready to view the world from a new, amazing vantage point. Your sweetie pie is over 4 months old, and now you will notice that your little one might hold his head properly. He might also able to pull himself into the sitting position from the lying position with your help or when you hold his hand. In this way, your kiddo is starting his lovely journey to achieve another big milestone after rolling that is sitting.

Your baby pulls to sitting position: What you need to know

At this point, you should begin with pulling your baby to a sitting position. All the babies are different but most of the babies able to sit up around 3 to 5 months of age, either by using their two little hands or with the help of their parents or a car seat. In this way, your kiddo is also showing you that he is ready to spend some time now in the propping up position.

    What you can do

As soon as your sweetie pie starts holding his head properly, encourage him to sit by propping him up with proper support at his back and on his sides like to make him sit in an infant seat, a stroller or simply with the cushions all around him. The more your kiddo gets the time of supported sitting, the more quickly he will learn sitting on his own and will explore the world around. It is a great way to understand that your little one is developing gross motor skills. It is also a positive sign that he his neck, arm and back muscles are becoming stronger.

Don't worry if your baby can't pull to sit position, give him some more time, he will get there soon. However, there are several ways to encourage your child to sit independently. But the interesting and the easiest one is to simply give him a ride in a stroller and show him the surroundings. This is the best way to develop his interest in sitting as well.
