Your 5-year-old might be scared of Doctor. So, engaging him with fun Activities can help drive away his fear.
Since, 1st July is a great opportunity to celebrate Doctor’s day by teaching your little one interesting art and craft activities to your 5-year-old kid. Read on to learn how.
1.Trace the body: Instruct your kid to lie down on a large sheet of paper and trace his body shape. Tell your kid to get up. Give your child colorful crayons. Encourage him to color different parts of his body by using different crayons.
2.Eye dropper painting: Guide your child to create simple designs by using eye droppers and tempera paint on absorbent paper. Dip the eye dropper in paint. Press the top of dropper and let the paint get in it. Tell your 5-year-old to make free drawings by controlling the outflow of paint from dropper on the paper.
3.Create doctor’s head band: Let your 5-year-old make head bands like a doctor by joining the ends of long white paper strips. Let him wear it on his head. Paste thin circular silvery foil as mirror on the center of band on his forehead.
4.Make bandages: Provide your 5-year-old paper towels, glue, and white tissue paper rolls. Let your child wrap tissue paper around his hand or leg creating bandage.
5.Develop health posters: Give your kid large white paper sheets. Encourage your 5-year-old to draw different fruits and vegetable on the paper by using crayons and write ‘Eat Healthy Food’. Similarly, create posters stating wash hands before eating and cover your mouth while sneezing.
6.Make your kid doctor: Last, but not the least, make your 5-year-old wear doctor’s apron, stethoscope around his neck, and headband on his head. Tell him to examine other kids acting like a doctor.
Now that you know these six fun activities to help your kid befriend a doctor, celebrate the Doctor’s Day with your 5-year-old by teaching him these interesting crafts and activities.
