A Message in Balloons- The Interaction Improvement Activity

Your child is now interacting with other kids of his age group and it will be necessary for you to teach him to be caring, sharing and cooperative with them. The learning benefits for such an activity sharpens your child's imagination, encourage playing dramatically, and also builds fine motor skills.

Contents

Requisites:
• balloons
• small pieces of paper
• pen

Steps:

1. Ask your child to think up a dozen of fun activities, such as read a book outside, have a Popsicle, blow bubbles, and go for a walk. Write each activity on a separate piece of paper.

2. Put the written surprises in the balloons, one per balloon. Blow them up for your child, and hang them around the kitchen or family room. Be sure to keep balloons away from younger children, as they pose a choking hazard.

3. Each day, pick one balloon to pop. Be sure to have the time allotted for the activity.

4. Alternatively, play a game and try to keep the balloon up in the air, while passing it back and forth. The winner keeps the balloon aloft the longest, and then gets to pop it.

Now pop some balloons and enjoy with your child as he learns through play!
