A Mosaic Of Eggshells!

This craft activity is one of those, that can be achieved with the help of waste materials like eggshells. You can save eggshells and keep it for weeks to make some of the mosaics. This activity will also help your kiddo to develop his motor skills and eye and hand coordination.
Requisites: 6-7 egg shells, one piece of A2 art paper, paints, crayons, markers, pencil, glue.
Steps:
1. Take all egg shells, wash them and let them dry properly.
2. Draw a picture or a scene on the art paper.
3. Fill most of the background using paints, crayons, markers or pencil. Leave one section blank where we have to glue the egg shell pieces. For instance, in a picture of a sailing boat fill the sky, trees, water and leave the boat blank to glue the pieces of egg shells in it.
4. Now decide what color egg shells you want to stick in the picture. You can paint the inside of the egg shells of the desired colors you require for your painting.
5. Leave the paint to dry properly.
6. When the paint is dried properly break the egg shells into the smaller pieces.
7. Use the paint brush to cover the blank section of the picture with glue and then start sticking your mosaic pieces to it.
This activity will also boost the confidence level of your kiddo. You can frame it and hang it on the wall to show off your kiddo’s work of art.
