Planning for Your Child’s Financial Security

Requisites: 12 Twigs from nearby park or a garden, hot-glue gun, twine, ruler, glitters, colorful knotted ribbons

Steps:

1. Collect 12 long twigs while taking a stroll or playing in the park. Prefer longer and straight twigs instead of stouter or twisted ones which are difficult to handle. Also pick the twigs longer than the size of your pictures.

2. Twigs will have branches and leaves. It will hamper your work. Thus, cut them.

3. A 4x6 frame needs 6 sticks 7 inches in length. Keep other 6 sticks in 5 inch length.

4. Once the sticks are ready, place the sticks in a frame formation wherein longer sticks to be arranged horizontally and shorter in a vertical manner. Paste the sticks accordingly using glue gun.

5. Now the only work left is to tie the strands of twine to all the corners of your frame, post that, paste them by joining all the strands at the center with glue on the back.

6. Once everything is in place, you may further decorate using glitters which will bring spark to your frame and now is the time to try out your picture in the frame and if it doesn't fit in, then chop the photograph a little bit from its edges to fit it in the frame.

7. Last but not the least, take a colorful knotted ribbon, approximately 5-6 inches in length and fix it with glue on the top corner edges of the frame to hang it smoothly.

This activity is a great fun and teaches your child concepts like measurement and precision. You may modify it further as per your own liking and preferences but a great way to hook your child for long hours maintaining the enthusiasm and zeal to reach its zenith.
