A Pipe Cleaner Toy!

This homemade toy is a good idea to make your little one busy for those times when he needs to sit still. Moreover, this activity will also help your kiddo to develop his fine motor skills.
Requisites: Small container (same as can) with lid, 4 pipe cleaners of different colors, wire cutters, a metal skewer, colored stickon dots, colored craft paper.
Steps:
1. Measure the height of the container.
2. Now taking it's height as a guide start cutting the different colored pipe cleaners as of the size so that they can fit inside the container easily.
3. Tick the four colored dots on the lid of the container.
4. Now heat the metal skewer on a gas top and use it to melt the plastic of the lid.
5. Pierce the holes through the dots on the lid of the container.
6. Take the colored craft paper and cover the body of the container properly so that it looks attractive.
7. Now encourage your kiddo to push the same color pipe cleaners through the holes of the lid as that of the colored dots on the lid of the container.
Start having fun. In this way, you can engage your little one for hours.
This activity is not only simple and easy to make but also help your kiddo in recognizing the different colors and thus help in the better development.
