Create and paint cute animals on rocks. Painting is an art to express your ideas in an expressive manner. Your kid loves to play with colors so this activity is sure to be a big hit. This activity will hone your child's creativity and imaginative skills.
Requisites: Stones- shape of your choice, acrylic paints, paint brushes, water in a beaker, color tray, permanent marker, newspaper and a flat surface.
Steps:
1. Select a picture of your child's favorite animal’s face (say Owl) that he would like to draw.
2. Scrub the rock with soap and water. Rinse it well and let it dry completely.
3. Spread a newspaper on the table and put the rock on it.
4. Give your kid a permanent marker to draw the design on the rock.
5. Black paint can also be used to paint the outlines of your animal using paint brush.
6. Let your child fill up colors according to the animal’s picture. Assist him if required.
7. Let this amazing animal rock art, to dry.
This activity would be best with adult supervision. Motivate and inspire your child. It will boost his creative and imaginative skills. Enjoy this art and have a great time!
