Requisites: Bean Bags (preferably in different colors), white A4 sheets, colorful marker pens, glue-stick

Steps:

1. Your cutie-pie is now on the verge of learning numbers. To make it more interesting, you can use some of your bean-bags. Like- say number from 1-10, you just write down each number in a paper and stick in your staircase, if you don’t have such a long staircase then begin with 1-5.

2. Then ask your little one to identify the numbers by just walking up and down. If your child forgets any step ask her to do it again, saying the numbers loud and clear.

3. Now starts the whole fun, you just name a number and ask your little one to throw or put the bean bag on that particular number. First few times, it might not be correct, but if you practice this with your child every day, then eventually she will get it.

4. Later on, you can also try some more complex problems following this very method. You can introduce summation of small numbers or multiplication of small digits in a more-simpler way through this activity.

This activity is indeed a great-learning process for your little one. This enables the concept of basic math to be understood by your child without it being a bore.
