Build Your Own Edible Food Pyramid

At this stage, your child can make a lot of fuss when it comes to food. However, the good part is that you can always make food fun for him with some tinge of adventure! Looking for adventure with food? Build your own food pyramid with your kid, in this activity.

Requisites: Seven crackers or biscuits of light weight, frosting, cutting board, aluminium foil, candies and cookies.

Steps:

1. Prepare a building surface. Place the cutting board and wrap foil around the board.

2. Put a line of frosting on the board which should be the length of the smaller end of the biscuit. (we will be using the frosting as the glue to stick the bisuit)

3. Then draw a line parallel to it of the same length about two inches away. Place a biscuit on each line a lean them toward one another at the top until they resemble an upside down V.

4. Use the same technique to make another inverted V next to it.

5. Put some more frosting on the top and lay another biscuit on top. Using the same method form another inverted V on top of this biscuit.

6. Glue the tops together to complete your two story pyramid. Let it dry and then decorate with candies and cookies.

A nice thing about this activity is that you can eat your masterpiece once you’re done. You never know, there might a little master chef hidden in your child.
