    What you can do:

    1. Start pointing out colors as you speak to your child. For instance, after his playtime ask him to put toys in the blue basket.

    2. When dressing him up, ask your child to say, "I am putting a red shirt for you.”

    3. During snack time you can ask him, “Do you want a red apple or yellow banana?”

    4. You can take him to grocery store where there are a variety of colors. Here you can show any item and ask him to name the color.

    5. You can also dedicate a day for one color. For instance make Wednesday a red color day. On this day you and your little one will only wear red color clothing. Give him a red apple or strawberries to eat that day.

This inclusion of colors in your child’s daily life will make it easier for him to identify colors better.
