Learning number counting is now as simple as cooking as well as helping with reading, recipes are great for getting your child counting and using numbers, amounts, weights, temperatures. They will also get the correct measurement by trying different recipes one at a time. It will be a fun mathematics as well as learn mathematics.

Steps:
1) Flour, sugar and butter are weighed in grams now a day’s which is usually shortened to "g". Liquid is measured in milliliters which are often shortened to "ml".
2) Let’s take an example as how to make Fruit Muffins which is presented as a maths exercise. You need to ask your child to measure each ingredients one by one and add one after the other, the muffins taste delicious if your child gets the numbers right!
3) You can also try cupcakes, theme that should be a bit of fun. Print and cut out the cupcake cards.
Include your child in various such activities, and hone their mathematical skills in a fun way.
