A sound and proper sleep is a must for your child’s physical as well as psychological development. In order to inculcate regular proper sleeping habit, you can teach your child this simple three steps activity.

Steps:
1. Decide on a time at which your child must go to bed and ask him to strictly follow it.
2. Teach him to pray before he sleeps, as this will give him a peaceful sleep. Ask him to get on the bed and close his eyes.
3. Teach him to sleep in a proper position and cover him with a blanket. If he is unable to sleep, tell him to close his eyes and pretend that he is sleeping. Within few minutes he will fall asleep.
Your child may listen to bed time stories while sleeping, but such habit will lead him to not fall asleep without listening to stories. How about developing a reading habit?
