Finding and understanding patterns is what maths is all about. When we discover the pattern of a series of numbers or items, we can predict what comes next.

Steps:

1) For instance, if a series goes like this (3, 5, 7, 9, 11) we might notice that each number in the series is 2 larger than the previous number.

2) If the pattern continues, we can predict that the next number in the series is the number 13.

3) A maths formula or rule is simply a way of describing a pattern that has been discovered.

4) The formula or rule for this pattern is "the previous number plus 2". Get your child to explain to you how they made their choice.

5) Often they will know the answer instinctively, but it’s good to be able to say out loud the formula or rule that they have discovered.

Discovering patterns develops analytical skill and also a knack of solving problems.

Planning for Your Child’s Financial Security

The growth and success of your child are not only associated with education and skills; the small decisions you make today as a parent firmly lay the groundwork for your child's secure tomorrow. When it comes to financial security, life insurance is an effective tool. You can choose from various types, such as whole life insurance, endowment plans, ULIPs, term insurance, and more.

You can also opt for a 1 crore term insurance policy, which offers robust coverage at low premiums that fits within your budget. You can also use a term insurance plan calculator to tailor your policy based on your requirements and your child’s goals. Remember, selecting the appropriate plan based on needs is critical so your child has adequate funds to fulfil all their dreams.
