Pretend play is something that 2-3 year olds would love playing. To help them get busy while they learn some essential skills here is a very simple doll/animal dress up game that you could play with what you already have at home.

Requisites: Your baby’s clothes, plush animals, soft toys (large ones), accessories, jewelery (optional)

Steps:

1. Teach your toddler how to dress up his soft toys with his clothes

2. You could also use your kid’s old clothes. You finally can all the clothes that he had outgrown to good use.

3. Optionally you could also add sunglasses, hair ties, jewelry and more.

This free play activity helps you kids understand how to get dressed. It would also help him identify which piece of clothing or accessory goes where. Leave him with a set of large stuffed animals or dolls and some of his old clothes. Let him dress up his plushies in his own creative way. Thus you can keep your toddler busy as he also learns new skills.
