Your child should be taught intellectual games in order to polish her mind. You can offer card games to your child which are interesting and can be played with a number of people.

Requisites: A deck of cards, a sheet of paper and pencil.

Steps:

1. Shuffle the deck of cards and place it on the table.

2. Now ask your child to estimate a number which is on the top. Then she has to pick the card up and check the number. Similarly you would pick a card for yourself by stating your estimation.

3. Now if the card number is closer to your estimated number then you win.

This task would help your kid learn about subtraction. You can involve more people into this game to make it exciting. Play several rounds and note down the result of each round on the sheet of paper.
