"Exploring the Maps" -A Baby Step Towards Educational Learning

Once your kid crosses his infant stage, he is exposed to the outside world. It would inspire him to learn new activities and explore emotions. You need to work on his abilities to think and act so that he develops into a capable human being. Do not let the child deviate from his learning phase. Cognitive skills are very important. You can make the kid learn how to read a map. This is a fun activity, which can be performed on a regular basis to locate new regions.

Steps:

1. Make the child sit with you at ease and offer him a map. It can be a world map or a country map.

2. Teach the child about North, South, East and West. Make him understand the map directions which are printed at the top.

3.Ask him to locate his city on the map. You can introduce him to new states and cities in the country.

Once the child is familiar with some of the areas, you can offer a blank map and ask him to locate the regions on his own.
