Heart To Heart Garland

At this stage, your child will start understanding shapes and colors. This activity is an exciting way to introduce new shapes and colors to your child. Win hearts with this beautiful 3D heart garland. This activity spreads the joy of making and gifting homemade crafts.

Requisites: 2-3 Red colored thick paper, 2-3 White colored thick paper, Stapler, Decorative items as per your choice, Satin tape, Glue

Steps:

1. Take the red colored sheet, draw 2 heart shapes measuring 8 cm and 6 cm approximately. Cut it out and keep it aside.

2. Next, take the white colored sheet, again draw 2 heart shapes measuring 7 cm and 5 cm approximately. Cut it out and keep it aside.

3. Take all the cut outs and arrange them one on another, according to the size starting with the biggest heart at the bottom to the smallest heart on the top.

4. After arranging, fold them at the center to make a mark. Open the fold and staple them so that they stay in the same order. One of your 3D heart is ready with layers.

5. Make as many 3D hearts as possible. You can hide the stapler pin by sticking any small decorative item as per your choice.

6. Take the satin tape, place on a flat surface. Apply glue and stick the 3D heart.

7. You can start sticking the rest of the 3D hearts at a gap of around 5 cm.

8. Once you stick all your 3D hearts, your 3D heart garland is ready!

This activity helps your child to explore its creative side. It also helps in understanding the concept of sizes and can practically apply the concept in this activity. Make this garland and decorate your house.
